Correction to being first internal hire to National Librarian positionedit
The sentence on Esson as the first internal hire has been removed. An article in Libraries Aotearoa which stated that she is the first appointment from within the library is incorrect.[1] Peter Scott was deputy national librarian before becoming National Librarian.[2]
