ABCE1 is the more commonly-used name for this gene Kinkreet~♥moshi moshi♥~ 16:12, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
^this is not correct; Rli1 is the yeast ortholog of the human gene ABCE1.

- With very few exceptions, Gene Wiki articles are not only about the human gene/protein, but orthologs that exist in other species. Since yeast (S. cerevisiae) RLI1 is an ortholog of human ABCE1 (see HomoloGene:2205), I have merged these two articles. Boghog (talk) 23:45, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
