I posted this on the Robin Hood Airport talk page and will post it here also:

As most of the history of Doncaster Airport is included in RAF Finningley should these two articles be merged as: it is effectively the same airport BUT RAF Finningley was effectively a different operating airport, 'Robin Hood' is just on the same site. The image Image:Yellow Sun Bomb On Trolley.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

We don't say 'Henry VIII is a former English King', and I don't think the text I've quoted - the first in the article - makes a lot of sense in the same way. (I hesitate to edit, not knowing if there is an official policy about this sort of thing, but I think 'RAF Finningley was an RAF station east of Doncaster &c.' reads more sensibly).
