In The King's Fifth this term is applied for those sent officially to buy (via bartering) or take lost gold from dethroned Native Americans, not (at least just) for those hiring mining workers. So is it not accurate in the book or in here? -Lwc4life 12:05, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
