Gambel oak in New Mexican mountains

I see that this tree is always associated with Rocky Mountain Juniper and if those trees are cut around it, it does poorly or dies. My observations are at my property at 7000 feet in central NM, east of Albuquerque in the Manzano Mountains. 98.97.84.201 (talk) 20:48, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
