Funny character

Why do I see a funny character in the title line of the article and at point X in this sentence "The qp digraph X" ? Looks like a tiny square with the numbers "0239" in it. The large graphic looks OK. The character also looks funny on this page Category:Latin_alphabet_ligatures though all the others on that page look OK. Do I need to install some special font? Yeah, a new font could have this character for you. What you saw was actually a very good fallback glyph - it's a square that actually has the Unicode code point in it, so you can look up what the character should have been. Most fallback glyphs are just an empty square and don't give you any help. VI_WS ^talk 04:01, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

cp

It can't be interpreted as cp since c and q are differently rounded in Times New Roman. Who came up with this weird idea? ȸ is never interpreted as cb either. --2.245.215.41 (talk) 03:07, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
