Her name is probably Diane Luckey

Apparently her real name or birth name is probably Diane Luckey. We don't have sufficient proof yet but that's the direction we ought to look in.

Here, Peter Helmann deduces it. It's just a deduction, and nothing like good enough to use in the article.

But here, a random blogger in 2013 writes:

However, it’s quite possible that her birth name was Diane Lucky, and, if her birth name was Diane Lucky, she was likely born in 1961 and graduated from Asbury Park High in New Jersey in 1979. (Diane Lucky is listed as a member of that graduating class.) This certainly fits the narrative, as it’s been confirmed that Lazzarus was from New Jersey

This is just some random blogger (one Bob Amic) and of course we can't use it, and I don't know what his source is. Still, it doesn't seem like something a person would just make up, either. And I mean Helmann came up with the same name (different spelling tho) entirely independently, not knowing of Bob Amic (unless Helmann is lying). That can't be sheer coincidence.

I'm not saying that we say that her name is Diane Luckey. We can't. But rather than just trying to find out what her name is -- we probably know that -- we just need a reliable source to confirm that it is Diane Luckey.

At any rate, our lede has "Q Lazzarus (full name Quiana Diana, last name unknown)" and that's not right, in any source I can find. Dazed has her as having been "listed" (listed where?) as "Diane Lucky, Quiana Lazzarus and Quiana Diana Lazzarus". All this considered, I'm going to change the lede to just use her stage name. There's no indication that her name is "Quiana Diana [something]". Herostratus (talk) 02:53, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
