Links edit

Why are there links to everything in this article? I think it's safe to assume that people know what legs and throats and knives are... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.7.229.123 (talk) 05:56, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Split edit

It seems to me that this article contains information that pertains to both this movie and stuff that applies to the series in general. Puppet Master (film series) should be created and any information about the series in general, not this specific film, should be moved there. -Joltman 11:41, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

We could Just make another page like the texas chiansaw massacre film series page User: Lord ciron 2.0

Chronological Order edit

Does anyone else think that this section contains Original Research and is of dubious validity. To begin, The Puppet Wars films were announced years ago, and it seems unlikely that we'll ever see them (and in any case, there is no reference for this), and even the order is debatable. Although the main story of "Retro Puppet Master" takes place in 1904, the bookend segments take place in 1944, AFTER Puppet Master 3, so where do you place it? Also, it has been argued elsewhere that Puppet Master 4 and 5 should take place BEFORE the main action in the original Puppet Master film (as Rick had to use acid to open the trunk that Toulon had sealed his puppets in during the prologue to the first film.) At any rate, there is far from a consensus for any of this and it should be deleted. 69.239.62.94 (talk) 07:46, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay Retro Puppet Master takes place in 1902 Not 1944, not 1844, 1902 and for the record curse of the puppet master takes place between 1 & 2 and 2 dose NOT take place after 4&5 Because torch was made in 2 and was in 5 User: Lord ciron 2.0 —Preceding comment was added at 19:35, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

"for the record" Curst of the Puppet Master takes place between 1&2? Which record would this be? Some reference, please. And although the main action of Retro Puppet Master takes place in 1902, the bookend segments with Guy Rolfe as Toulon take place in 1944. It says so right on the screen! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.237.43.187 (talk) 16:28, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Someone should put a stop to all of this back and forth editing of this section. Obviously there is no consensus as to the order of the films, and no one can provide any reference for a preferred order. This section should probably just be removed, and if the back and forth changes continue, I may do just that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.237.2.47 (talk) 14:55, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Puppet Master Box.jpg edit

Image:Puppet Master Box.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Citation and Expansion edit

This article has several sections that are missing citations, and is also missing information on the film's production and release which should be added as well. The reception section is way too short and more reviews on the film from notable critics should be added.--Paleface Jack (talk) 15:55, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
