Some thought that Alicia getting played by an African-American actress would indicate similar casting for the Puppet Master, but he is not her biological parent.

He's not her biological parent in the mainstream/616 Marvel Comics universe. In the movie-verse, he might be. Dr Archeville 02:18, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Mu puppetmaster.jpg edit

Image:Mu puppetmaster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:15, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Puppet-King edit

Shouldn't the puppet king be mentioned in the media section? I know he's not exactly the Puppet Master but he is very similar and is likley a parody. I mean the puppet king from the Teen tiatns animated series that is and not the puppet monarch.203.53.167.180 08:50, 16 July 2007 (UTC) Where did you find this stuff?Reply

The Puppet King from the animated series is based on DC Comics Puppeteer not the Puppet Master. Jhenderson777 (talk) 00:32, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Puppet Master (comics)Puppet Master (Marvel Comics) – multiple "Puppet Master"s in comics, including the DC Comics character and the Eternity Comics title, so this disambiguatory term is ambiguous. 76.65.128.43 (talk) 13:05, 24 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation edit

I moved the page to Puppet Master (Marvel Comics) from Puppet Master (Marvel comics), because we generally disambiguate comics character articles by company name, which has been standard practice for several years now. If there is any serious objection to this move, I will place a notification at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics and we can discuss further. Thank you. BOZ (talk) 04:28, 10 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
