You said in one edit note that you were repairing a vandalized section, I am the only other person who has contributed to this page with a VERY minor edit. Supertouch (talk) 04:17, 29 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Extensive cleanup June 2010 edit

The article had become largely unintelligible for the average reader, so I chopped out the lengthy assortments of ahadith, the highly POV complaints about other Islamic sects, and tried to get down to the basic fundamentals of the belief. A good amount of the lede was just cut-and-pasted from the article about the two angels, but it seemed to well-summarise the beliefs about the soul's experiences. I trimmed it down to just four of the clearer examples from the Sunnah, from a list of a dozen. Hopefully this should be more accessible for the average reader looking to better understand Islamic eschatology. MatthewVanitas (talk) 16:54, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Then you've done a good job, especially when it comes to "accessibility". The article leaves out one fundamental detail: WHAT exactly is the "punishment of the grave"? If it is not defined in the Quran, then how is it conceptualized by Muslim believers? Boneyard90 (talk) 18:41, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
