"Unspecified multimedia track"

Can someone who has the album specify what is the "Unspecified multimedia track", this sounds too vague, and if nobody knows this inforation should be deleted --kito0104 (talk) 17:02, 16 May 2010

Busbee

Please check your sources. On the actual album as well as on iTunes, etc, "busbee" is credited as "busbee" not "Michael Busbee" (as is always the case). Thank you! 4trak (talk) 22:23, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

you are supposed to credit songwriters as they appear on ASCAP or BMI reportoire (two example songwriting agencies). He is credited as Michael Busbee. Regards, Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:33, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

That is inaccurate. You are crediting an album. Which is a body of work. You can't decide to change it's contents, which includes the credits. As well, i would argue that this logic that is being used is very inconsistent. For example, when one searches a Mark Twain book, the wikipage will say "Such And Such A Book" written by Mark Twain. It doesn't say "Such And Such A Book" written by Samuel Langhorne Clemens. As well...busbee is not "credited" on ASCAP/BMI as "Michael Busbee," but rather on those databases people are listed by their legal names by nature of the context. You will note if you checked with either organization that anyone who has an aka is also notated as that aka with the organization. Please stop changing these Toni Braxton credits. It is not inaccurate. As i said on your talk page we had to standardize the way that songwriters are credited because different agencies, works etc. all accredit differently. You wish to change something which is opposed by three editors. There is a consensus that the tracklisting should be left as 'Michael Busbee'. Until a consensus says otherwise that's how it should be left. If you refuse to co-operate and change Michael Busbee back to Busbee we will have to inform administrators that you are unable to co-operate with policy and it could lead to an edit ban/block. You, wikipedia, the likes can not just decide how people are credited. As i have mentioned, you are not commenting on the credits in the case of this record...you are commenting on a body of work. This album. Just as the album is called "Pulse" and you cannot change that, so are the participants credited in the album...and you cannot change that. It is not your place, simply put. It doesn't matter how other organizations refer to the writers. You are referencing an actual body of work, period. Just as it would be inaccurate to alter the information in any other body of work, wether it be a book or a movie, etc. It is not accurate to alter the information in this body of work, a recorded album. Actually I think you'll decide that the community on wikipedia decides best how information is displayed. You are a WP:tenditious editor who displayed incivilty by disrespecting wikipedia policies and concensus. Your tone of voice is not only patronising but also slightly arrogant. I understand that as someone who feels like you have music industry experience you feel like your opinion is more credible than anyone else's. You've shown blatant disregard for the community by repeatedly restoring your own edit despite it being opposed. This is not acceptable behaviour. In the interest of good faith I've modified the article to so that Michael Busbee appears as the songwriter and Busbee as the producer. This is normal practise with producers e.g. The-Dream becomes Terious Nash for songwriting, Tricky Stewart becomes Christopher Stewart, Polow da Don becomes Jamal Jones etc. Its upto you if you choose not to accept the edits or not. However note that if you chose NOT to accept the compromise administrators will be informed of you rejection of community spirit, consensus, wikipedia policy and uncivilty. I am aware that you displayed similar behavioural issues with "Acapell" by Kelis where you repeatedly noted unsourced / WP:original research. Regards, Lil-unique1 (talk) 15:50, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

See any quality music article on Wikipedia and writers are given credit as their full names in the infobox is because that is what they are credited as in the liner notes. I don't own a copy of Pulse, but I highly doubt that in he is credited as busbee in the writing section. He might be in the producers section. For example, I own Raymond v. Raymond and will.i.am is credited as William Adams in the writing but will.i.am as a producer in for OMG. I own My World 2.0 and just like Lil-unique said, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart are credited as such as producers, but in the writers row are credited as Terius Nash and Christopher Stewart.
