Martyr's Week or Martyrs' Week
Around September 9th, anniversary of Ahmed Shah Massoud's assassination in 2001.
Held in 2012 on Sept. 8th: Mohammed Fahim placed a wreath on Massoud's minaret in Kabul amid a large official representation and tight security.

It was reported on a blog, March 23rd 2012, that president Hamid Karzai had scrapped the holiday from the (starting March 20 instead of 21 in 2012) national calendar of year 1391 (but that the decision was contested). (Fresh News @Afghanistan)
