Mary Lomis adopted?

It's a blunder if Mary's parents are both caucasian. Thus my suggestion that perhaps her father (the late Mr. Loomis) was oriental. GoodDay (talk) 17:21, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

It could be viewed as a genetic throwback to the many Asiatic peoples such as the Kipchaks, Huns, Alans, Magyars, Mongols, etc. who invaded Europe at one time or another. GoodDay, I went to school with a blonde Finnish girl and she was very Eurasian in appearance. It's very likely the case. I recall that she and her brother had very blonde hair, but dark, almond-shaped eyes; they were both on the short side as well. The family moved to California from Finland when the kids were small, but she never told me from which part of Finland they came from. It was a casting blunder IMO (unless, Mary's father was meant to be oriental). I'm noting that Mary's father may have been Sam Loomis (who was caucasian). GoodDay (talk) 15:14, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Alfred Hitchcock

Did Alfred Hitchcock have any influence on this movie? Such as being some sort of ghost producer or advisor? I understand he died before the movie premiered, but perhaps he had some influence in the early development? Anyone who knows anything? --Soren84 (talk) 13:01, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
