Copyedit edit

I have just spent quite a lot of time copyediting this article, but the two quotes below left me baffled.

In the 'Operations' section, para 5:
"By spring, a battlion of the US Army will deploy to Faryab province."
Does this mean 2010? As the sentence stands and the preceding information, it is not very clear.

In the 'Casualties' section, first entry:
"Petri Tapio Immonen of Finland died on 23 May 2007 of his injuries after an IED strike outside the local hospital in Meymaneh city. Three other Norwegian soldiers were wounded."
Does this mean that a) there was also a Finnish unit in this PRT, b) Finnish soldiers were attatched to the Norwegians or c) something else completely?

Any ideas, anyone? RASAM (talk) 20:15, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Did they or didn't they? edit

"By spring, a battalion of the US Army will deploy in Faryab province. The American forces will hold the role of Police Mentoring Team, for their colleagues in the Afghan Police. An Afghan brigade from the 209th corps of the Afghan Army will also deploy to Faryab province, thus increasing the Coalition and Afghan forces presence in the province."

The wording is outdated. --155.55.60.112 (talk) 08:24, 5 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Did they belong to PRT Meymaneh (and are there references)? edit
