Refering to note #3, Hegel's concept of the Notion (the capacity in things or ideas, the potential (though unrevealed) truth in them, has only a vague, accidental relation with Hermetism and the esoteric concept of Prisca theologia. Hegel was not esoteric, least of all an hermetist. God forbids! Too smart and too real for that; for what he called "phantasm." It shows a poor knowledge of the prodigy's work.
