Talk:Presentation (medical)

Clinical and treatment presentations edit

  1. The current article discusses how patients present clinically with symptoms and signs - a clinical presentation.
  2. However, there is another usage in the medical literature, which describes how a medication or other treatment is applied ("presented") to treat a specific condition. See e.g. Angiogenesis#Angiogenesis for cardiovascular disease which mentions such factors as dose concentration and sequential timing, all of which may affect the medical outcomes of a treatment. We may distinguish this from a clinical presentation as a treatment presentation.
  3. This article needs attention from a medical practitioner or researcher. I'm neither, just their guinea pig! yoyo (talk) 03:01, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Clinical picture, clinical image, clinical symptoms ? edit

I translated it from my mother tongue = dutch. I did a google translate and came to clinical picture or clinical image. These terms are not used in English? Cheers, SvenAERTS (talk) 00:52, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
