Pronounciation

Is Leafe pronounced Leaf? In the anime is was pronounced like Li-Fei...

In the English version it sounds like Leaf-ay whereas the Japanese version pronounces it more like Leaf. --Miss Ethereal 23:15, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Hmm... I checked the Japanese Wikipedia page, and it has Leafe Knights written as リーフェナイツ Rīfe Naitsu. That's not pronounced like "leaf" (which would be リーフ Rīfu). The dub is probably not exact either, though, as it probably should be sound a bit more like "leaf-eh" than "leaf-ay". I'll have to check the Japanese version out again to see how I hear it. Characters

Hi, I was adding some info into the Character Bios and was going to put in their age when I noticed on the ADV character page for Hayate, that he has a presumed age of 18... in the anime they refer to Takako being the Pretear 16 years ago... unless I really misunderstood. Does this seem wrong to anyone else? --Miss Ethereal 02:02, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Maybe the Leafe Knights age differently? Weren't they in some sort of stasis for a while after the incident with Takako? (of course the three "replacement" ones had to age during that time). The "presumed age" there probably just means the age they appear to be, regardless of actual age. I don't think ADV just made that information up (particularly with information like birthday and favorite drink there). They probably had access to some sort of official material. In the manga, it says the knights who weren't killed lost a lot of energy and were reverted back to the form of babies, which was why Hayate is (approximately) the same age as Himeno. Perhaps this holds true for the anime as well? Yumecosmos 19:33, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm actually second guessing the information on the official ADV page, considering that the page itself is somewhat inconsistent. For instance, Go is spelled Goh and Go on the Character summary pages. I thought that they might be in some sort of stasis or something as well, since at the beginning of the first episode, Hayate had to summon the other nights... but I'm not sure. I think they had his name spelled as "Goh" when they did the cast guessing game on the AnimeOnDVD forums, too, though it's "Go" thoughout the DVD release. Probably were going to romanize him as "Goh" first and then changed it later (sometimes they have to do those kind of things because the Japanese licensor asks for it). Mind if I add some manga information on Takako and Natsue? Things like: in the manga Natsue is the princess of disaster, Takako is dead, and Takako and Hayate actually dated for a while rather than him rejecting her. I think those are differences worth mentioning in the character sections themselves rather than in a separate "differences" section. Yumecosmos 19:38, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Original title...

While the article includes the original Japanese title, it doesn't mention the translation of that title - something that once I found out, totally changed the way I saw the show, so I think it should say it. Namely, "New Snow White's Legend", by one translation anyway. Once seeing that, it inspired all sorts of revelations, such as "wait, how many knights are there...? Ohhhhh..." :) But anyway, that translation is pretty backwards for English, so I didn't add it myself... but I don't know Japanese myself to translate it to a more standard phrasing.
