3rd Film/Reboot Film edit

Should't we start to branch off the 3rd/reboot film into it's own page? Don't we have enough credible information to move forward with that? rick lay95 (talk)

rick lay95 A paragraph of information seldom warrants a unique article. If you want to build it into a proper article, you could do that, but you'd need far more info (and references) from what's there. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:39, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
There are plenty of references to start with, plus just need to migrate the information from the reboot heading to the new page. I got it up and running, it's a good start. Power Rangers (film). rick lay95 (talk)
Okay, so. The movie hasn't been properly announced, yet. There is nowhere near enough information to justify a new page, considering we don't even know the whole cast and we only vaguely know the writers and such. WP:CRYSTAL Please do read. Specifically, the product announcement bit. Wikipedia is not a collection of product announcements and rumors. All you did was copy and paste the paragraph from one page to the other and there is not enough proper info to make a whole seperate page for a barely announced film. Kitsunelaine (talk) 06:51, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
The film is officially announced. We have official writers, director, producers, and cast. It's going to happen. These are not rumors, these are facts and every fact has a link and citation. Yes I migrated the information over because it no longer needs to be here, it needs to be on the main page. rick lay95 (talk)
The film's simple existance has been announced. Beyond that, we only know small tidbits. Not enough for a whole article. Please stop restoring it and instead make a draft version at Draft:Power Rangers (film) Kitsunelaine (talk) 06:56, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Tons of other upcoming films on Wikipedia have "tidbits" and yet are full pages, why can't we have the Power Rangers page? What is it really hurting? It meets all criteria for an upcoming film page. If you don't think it should be there, nominate it for deletion, NOT just reverting all the work from the last hour.rick lay95 (talk)
WP:CRYSTAL. Read it. Specifically section number 5. And, what work? You just copied the stuff from the main page over. We need to wait until there's more information. Until then, you can feel free to make your version on the draft page. Kitsunelaine (talk) 07:01, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Formatting is work! And what more information are you waiting for? Give me EXACTLY what more is needed.
You can format all you want on the draft version of the page. Kitsunelaine (talk) 07:08, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment - The only way this article will survive is if it can be demonstrated that principal photography has begun. That's not the only criteria, but that is one important one. See WP:NFF. Also, if content was copied from this article to another, proper attribution must be given. See WP:CWW. At this point, I think the {{Copied}} template is the way to go. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers + Alien Rangers + Zeo Rangers Releases in U.S.A. edit

An entire collection of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was released in 2015 in the U.S. This included seasons 1, 2, 3, and the Alien Rangers "season".

Additionally, a two-volume collection of Zeo Rangers (which continues the story of the Mighty Morphin and Alien Rangers to its finale) was released but I do not recall the date for that one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:A000:7B00:BB00:AD83:387D:B7E1:2FD6 (talk) 03:36, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Creator edit

Per the "not verified in body" mark next to Shuki Levy (which I didn't leave), Levy was the EP who (with Haim Saban) was credited at the end of every episode through Time Force. While he co-founded Saban Entertainment, the show was Haim Saban's brainchild. Since Saban bought the show back, the credits have read "Created by Haim Saban and Toei Company, Ltd." (with a variant for Ishimori Pro in Super Megaforce). Crediting Toei and Ishimori may be a legal requirement. Power Rangers is Power Rangers because of Haim Saban, but uses footage from a show created by Toei's braintrust. So we could say Saban, Saban and Toei or Saban and Saburo Hatte (with that directing to Toei's wiki page). Thoughts?--Aresef (talk) 22:11, 22 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Shuki Levy has been listed as co-creator in many sources ([1] [2] [3]). As for Super Megaforce, the reason only Saban is credited is because Levy had no involvement in any of the Saban Brands series. There's nothing illegitimate about listing either of them as creators. As for Toei/Ishimori, their only involvement in Power Rangers is the fact that Power Rangers uses footage/props from Super Sentai, that's why Toei/Ishimori aren't listed as creators and "Power Rangers is adapted from Super Sentai" pretty much covers that. —Mythdon 21:15, 12 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Creator (2) edit

@Harimua Thailand: Toei didn't create and doesn't own PR in Japan. The addition is unsourced and is original research and is superfluous anyway because Toei's involvement is already stated through the article. Unless you can provide a source that explicitly mentions Toei created/owns PR, then all the other mentions throughout the article about Toei's involvement suffices. I also discussed this with another editor about how Toei is only credited with providing the source material.—Mythdon (talkcontribs) 17:56, 13 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disney and Saban Brands era logos? edit

I know Wikipedia isn't Logopedia, but I wanted to suggest that the Disney-era and Saban Brands-era logos also be uploaded and included in the "Broadcast history" section. I think this would help with simplicity without the reader having to go through 15 something pages just to be able to tell the Power Rangers logo looked almost exactly the same from Zeo all the way until Super Ninja Steel. Instead they could just refer to this page as far as the logo changes, since thus far, the only page that mentions anything about the logo change is the "Production" section of Power Rangers Beast Morphers.

Should "second-in-command" be mentioned? edit

Jason Lee Scott, Rocky DeSantos, T.J. Johnson, etc, are referred to as "second-in-command" of their teams. However, the only instance of this being explicitly mentioned is Sky Tate (Sky being promoted from Blue to Red, Bridge from Green to Blue, etc).

Every other instance is just the fandom throwing around "They acted as second-in-command" without it having actually been mentioned in the show or anywhere else.

Having seen the shows and seeing how the fandom tends to throw around "second-in-command" all over the place, I think any mention of "second-in-command" should be removed except in cases where it's been explicitly mentioned. Thoughts? —Mythdon (talkcontribs) 05:49, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
