Merge?

It seems odd to have this little stub of an article about Post-newtonian expansion; is there any good reason not to just make this a section in the Parameterized post-Newtonian formalism article? Geoffrey.landis (talk) 18:57, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

PPN is mostly about deviations from GR. This article should be a discussion of how to calculate gravitational fields and motion in a series starting with Newton's gravity.Likebox (talk) 06:56, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

PPN is about going one step beyond Newtonian gravity without assuming any particular theory. PNE is about going multiple steps beyond Newtonian gravity in the specific series which converges to Einstein's general relativity. JRSpriggs (talk) 07:21, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
