Talk:Portrayal of Asians in theater

Proposed merge with Portrayal of East Asians in Hollywood edit

"...in American theater" is currently just three prominent examples. Seems like it might be worth combining the two articles into a single "...in American film and theater" article. (Or even just "Yellowface" - the "...in Hollywood" article appears to have been renamed away from that without discussion in 2010.) McGeddon (talk) 18:20, 26 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I think that's a great idea. The page could just be renamed. How would we go about merging these together? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ScoutLepore 95 (talkcontribs) 07:17, December 2, 2015‎ (UTC)
I also agree. The target article should be rename to Yellowface, per its own lead. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:34, 16 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
I would also agree with the merge, McGeddon. -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:42, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Noting here that the proposal to move to the new title Yellowface failed to reach consensus, in 2016; see Talk:Portrayal of East Asians in American film#Requested move 16 June 2016. Klbrain (talk) 22:26, 10 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
