Port of Albany in New York edit

I just started an article on the Port of Albany-Rensselaer, and since I assume at least some people in the United States and especially in New York state would look for "Port of Albany" when looking for the Port of Albany-Rensselaer (Port of Albany being its most commonly used name, such as in the official port website www.portofalbany.com) I was wondering if the kind people of Australia would be O.K. with a move of this article to Port of Albany (Australia) thereby freeing up Port of Albany to be a disambiguation page directing people to the difference...? 24.182.142.254 (talk) 10:26, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I added the following at the top of the page- "This article is about the Port of Albany in Western Australia. For the Port of Albany in New York, see Port of Albany-Rensselaer"

I just couldnt bring myself to move this page, I felt it would be a bad sign of an American bullying in on the nice people of Albany, Western Australia. You've made a good article here, perhaps if someday there is a more of a reason for a diambiguation page then sure, but for now I don't see why. If any of you would like to check out the page for the port in Albany, New York and get an idea of any improvements for your own page or suggest improvements to us in New York, the article is under the title Port of Albany-Rensselaer. ps- I really enjoyed reading and learning about Albany, Australia.Camelbinky (talk) 00:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
