Composition of the Czech Senate after the 2006 elections edit

I have updated the table of the Senate election results, as the ones given were still those of the 2004 elections. Now it has the results of the October 2006 elections.

However, the Wiki page "Senate of the Czech Republic" still needs to be updated.

Also, the Wiki page "Elections in the Czech Republic" (I see now that I finished here), reproduces this table and did already have an update, be it with a slightly different wording, and with a different source link. It would be good if any change in one would automatically appear in the other too - if anyone knows how to do that?

OK, it turned out I initially made a big mistake. Spotting that this page still had the 2004 Senate composition, I had proceeded to update the template that was linked in on this page - the template for the 2004 elections, that is - instead of just replacing it with the "Senate election, 2006" template, which did in fact already turn out to exist (that was the one already featured on the Wiki page "Elections in the Czech Republic").

That's solved now: I reverted those changes to the 2004 template, and on this page replaced that template with the 2006 one. I also updated the 2006 template with data from the Czech Statistical Office; and I inserted that table on the Wiki page "Senate of the Czech Republic" as well. So all should be well now..

Important notice edit

The government section of the "Outline of the Czech Republic" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

Yes this is a problem caused by somebody's confusion of terms. The Czech language shares one expression "vláda" for "government" (the broad term), "cabinet" (also "current government") and "the executive" (branch of government). So a lot of renaming needs to be done in the Czech political system network of articles. I lack the user rights to do that afaik.Martin J. Němeček (talk) 13:30, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Government description incomplete edit

came to the page to understand administrative divisions- since redirected from "Czech government" which is distinctly different from "politics". This isn't covered here, so either needs expansion or separate site.--Wuerzele (talk) 21:31, 23 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I will try to improve this article. But a lot of article names and redirections in the Czech politics and administration need to be changed too and I lack the user rights to do that.Martin J. Němeček (talk) 13:34, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
