Socially Liberal edit
So the article states "Johnson is known for holding fiscally conservative, socially liberal libertarian views, and a philosophy of limited government." but the link for "socially liberal" takes us to a Wikipedia article that says "Social liberalism is the belief that liberalism should include social justice. It differs from classical liberalism in that it believes the legitimate role of the state includes addressing economic and social issues such as unemployment, health care, and education" This contrasts with Gary Johnsons positions. This seems to be a very simple mistake, but I don't want to be accused of vandalism. So I'm just calling your attention to this. I'm thinking that either it should link to civil libertarianism or maybe remove the hyperlink all together. Thanks for hearing me out 108.85.112.233 (talk) 22:45, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- You're right. That article is clearly about something different to what I had in mind when I wrote 'socially liberal', so a rephrase is essential. 'Civil libertarianism' (which redirects to 'civil liberties') looks good to me. Bastin 02:12, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Best online voter guides? edit

- FYI, turns out Our America Initiative whose material I removed in part actually is a Gary Johnson project starting in 2009. How dated the views are is another question and obviously more updated views from news sources may be better in some cases. So I'll go back and repair any damage and make sure it's clear he himself is the source there. CarolMooreDC 15:41, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
