Ciaccona edit
Apparently, the "ciaccona" is an arrangement by Penderecki and is not included in the original full score. Can someone verify if it is included or if it's just a separate arrangement? --Wildbill hitchcock (talk) 13:48, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
- Arranged from what, and where have you learned of this? The "original full score" of the Requiem was published in 1984, so it is unlikely to have included the ciaccona, which was only added to the Requiem in 2005. The Schott catalog lists the ciaccona as a separate publication, but only as a component of the Requiem, not as a pre-existing composition. I presume that the rental materials include this movement along with the rest. A quick search on the web does not turn up anything about this being an arrangement rather than an original composition but, given the recent date of its addition to the Requiem, perhaps this is not surprising.
