Talk:Polish General Staff

"Wojsko Polskie" is, in English, "Polish Armed Forces." If that is the case, then shouldn't this article's title be "General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces" rather than "of the Polish Army"? As far as I know, in Poland there is only one "General Staff"—there isn't a "General Staff of the Navy" or "General Staff of the Air Force." Nihil novi (talk) 08:08, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sounds reasonable.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:22, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
As the article's title, would "Polish General Staff" suffice? That would be less unwieldy than "General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces." I can't think of any other Polish institution that uses the names "General Staff" or "Polish General Staff," so there should be no chance of confusion. The article's lead could then state the name as "General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces." Nihil novi (talk) 02:44, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Good idea, seems widely used, more so then the other proposed titles: [1], [2].--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 03:42, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your advice. I've moved the article accordingly. Nihil novi (talk) 06:28, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
