Clarify? edit

The engine displacements for virtually all years are a total disaster - virtually all incorrect. When I find time, I'll try to fix. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rehrenberg (talkcontribs) 03:12, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Clarify? edit

The article says, "was slightly better than a quarter of Chevrolet Bel Air and Ford Victoria production for that same period." I'm guessing it means either one, not both combined. Can somebody who knows clarify? Lee Iacocca 09:22, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tulsa's Belvedere edit

I think the Tulsa's belvedere should branch off in to it's own separate article/stub.

Things to discuss would be:

  • Why the Belvedere model was chosen
  • The history of the burial event
  • Urban Legends that may have arisen over the decades
  • The unearthing of the Belvedere
  • The people involved in the original planning and burial.
  • The items buried in side of the time capsule with the car.

I thought the same thing. How about, Who won? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.192.94.145 (talk) 23:42, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

So did I. I was watching this story with great interest and I was deeply saddended that tha car was ruined. I've gone and forked off a new article at Miss Belvedere. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 08:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I removed motors from the 61-63 line, will update later today with correct motors, I know for a fact the 225 and 383 came in it as I have owned both but the 340 and 327 are quaetionable and the 318 in it woyuld be the "poly 318" as the LA 318 came out in 1967

426ci? edit

Why the hell does the section on the '62-64 Belvedere explain how the car was "used to introduce the 426ci engine", and how it was "highly desirable with this engine as a drag car due to it's lightweight body", and how "it dominated NASCAR's Daytona with the 426ci engine" (to paraphrase), while the info box only includes the 225ci Slant-six and the 383ci V8? Seems contradictory..45Colt 00:26, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not billed as 58 but 57 edit

If you look at Chrstine movie start, you will find that the movie says 1957, not 1958.

Engines: Second Generation edit

Chrysler never made ANY of the V8 engines in the sidebar.

Chrysler made a 241.3 cubic inch V8 (not a 341.3, and it was known as the 241, but not an I6 of that size.)

ALL of the V8 engine displacements are wrong, I don't know of anyone that made them except the 429 (Ford), 352 (Ford FE), and Ford also made a 462 (MEL) and a 370 (385-series related to the 426/460). No one I'm aware of made a 461, 451, 384, or 371.
