Relatively new -contradiction edit

How can it be 'relatively new' if it was invented by Tesla, who died in 1943? --193.239.126.100 (talk) 16:54, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The wording seems to need some adjustment. The modern lamps are relatively new. Tesla's lamp was not practical. I'm not sure to what extent the modern lamps are descended from Tesla's however. --Srleffler (talk) 18:09, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

it is more accurate to say that Tesla invented the electrode-less lamp not the plasma lamp - changed to reflect this. Teulon3000 (talk) 14:47, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Teulon3000Reply

Picture please edit

Is anybody capable of supplying a photograph of one of these lamps in operation? It would help to distinguish this type of device from the novelty lamps. Robert K S (talk) 00:22, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is this one? I really don't know what these devices look like. -- Ken_g6 (factors | composites) 22:59, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Just a boring old car bulb, not a plasma lamp, in spite of the erroneous description. Keep looking. --Wtshymanski (talk) 04:57, 7 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Does this help? http://thelepexperience.com/?page_id=109#all — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.250.225.57 (talk) 21:14, 28 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
