Relatively new -contradiction

How can it be 'relatively new' if it was invented by Tesla, who died in 1943? --193.239.126.100 (talk) 16:54, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

The wording seems to need some adjustment. The modern lamps are relatively new. Tesla's lamp was not practical. I'm not sure to what extent the modern lamps are descended from Tesla's however. --Srleffler (talk) 18:09, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
