£2 entrance fee

Unlike any other park I've been to, you have to pay an entrance fee. This ought to be mentioned in the article. In my opinion it was not worth the £2 as it is very small and the flowers and plants were rather meagre even allowing for the time of year. In contrast Ipswich Arboretum, adjacent to Christchurch Park, is much bigger and with a much fuller display of plants and flowers, yet costs nothing to enter. Correction: it was actually the western side of Christchurch Park that I meant, not the arboretum although that is nice as well. 2.97.220.73 (talk) 18:59, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments. I don't think you can compare Plantation Garden to a local authority park which is funded by the council tax payers of Ipswich.Northmetpit (talk) 16:31, 1 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
