Dubious claim of no fare booths

Yesterday I visited the six stations on the extension -- it was opening day.

This article claims none of the new stations will have fare booths. But I certainly saw TTC fare booths. Geo Swan (talk) 14:40, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

As per MOS:DATETIES, "Articles related to Canada or Israel may use either format (July 4, 1976 or 4 July 1976) with (as always) consistency within each article". In my experience, the former is more common. That's nice you disagree and all, but MOS:DATEVAR says we keep the existing format, which is mdy. Most TTC stations are mdy; some are dmy. Since both formats are acceptable in Canada-related article, as Blaixx has pointed out on more than one occasion, you have zero legs to stand on. Also, I edit tonnes of Canadian articles and I would actually say the bulk are mdy. Whether you like that or not, or I like that or not, is irrelevant. MDY for the text, and it really doesn't matter to me what the ref date format is as long as they are consistent. Summoned by bot. I use YMD (2018-09-18) myself for the refs, but if I edit an existing article, I try to keep the format consistent with the most common existing format.
