hey anyone who reads this.... i'm not good at telling if things will make it but i think both these pictures on the page are really nice. does anyone else think that one of them might make it to be a featured pic? Chuckos 14:29, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

The pic on the right is from Commons, so it can't be a FP here (although it could be nominated on Commons); however the one on the left is eligible. -- llywrch 16:13, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
They are both on commons, and being on commons has never stopped an image being featured here. In fac the left one (which I took) is a COM:FPC at the moment (but not going too well :)). pfctdayelise 03:35, 18 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Maybe a closer picture to one of the pines

Paintings edit

"are frequently portrayed in traditional Chinese paintings"

A pic would be nice; if they're that frequently portrayed we probably have some images uploaded already– we just need someone who can recognize them. Thanks.--Pharos 07:40, 18 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Both of the pics at Chinese painting show them - MPF 00:23, 23 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Edit to improve sort order in category Pinus edit

I edited this to change the sort order on the page for the Category:Pinus. It had been set to alphabetize under Pine. That might make sense for categories where there are a lot of trees and a few of them are pines; then all the pines group together. But on the page where everything is a pine, it made more sense to alphabetize under Huangshan. 140.147.236.194 (talk) 15:00, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Stephen KoscieszaReply

Move discussion in progress edit

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Big-cone pinyon which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 03:45, 2 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
