Sorry that this review come a bit late. I am a bit busy this week.
Comments edit
- When Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment were released is not notable enough to be mentioned in the lead.
- Utilizing that BioWare Engine is also not notable enough to be mentioned in the lead, nor in the gameplay section.
- An expansion pack for the game is currently in development by Obsidian. - "by Obsidian" is not necessary.
- Personal opinion, not compulsory, but I personally think that the topic sentence for the gameplay section should be something like "Pillars of Eternity is a role-playing game that ..."
- As the player's characters explore an area map, it is revealed. - "Reveal" don't sound like the best word in describing this.
- The character classes and game mechanics are somewhat similar to Dungeons & Dragons - remove "somewhat"
- the cipher must use the soul of an enemy in order to attack them - should be "can" instead of "must"
- a unique personality and appearance. - Shouldn't this be written in plural form?
- Why "scouting mode" is italicized?
- unresponsive like vegetables - It is a weird simile. Is it really the best word to use, or it is quoted from the game?
- was released for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux in March 2015. - This information is related to the release section instead of the development section.
- , and it was announced an OS X version of the game would be provided together with a DRM-free option through GOG.com. - Should be a new sentence.
- I encouraged you to cite the year as well, like changing "September 26" to "September 26, 2012" and so on.
- developer/publisher - Don't use slash
- reminiscent of those great [Infinity Engine] games - Don't need to specify Infinity Engine
- The idea was later scrapped. - It need a source
- The development section is well-written. But is there any more information about how the story, gameplay, music are inspired or created? It is not compulsory, but the development will be better with these information
- Baldur's Gate expansion pack, Tales of the Sword Coast (1999) - Don't need to cite the year
- it is currently listed on Metacritic - wikilink Metacritic
- a worthy successor to the games it was inspired by, such as Planescape: Torment and the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series. - You have mentioned the name of these games before. You don't need to mention them again.
- the game's combat's customizability - Personal opinion, not compulsory, but I often found that use of two continuous apostrophe hinder reading.
- File:Pillars of Eternity.jpg - You should cropped the Paradox Interactive logo away
- I am not sure whether sources from Segment Next, GameBanshee, Ripten and Heise online are reliable or not
- Removed Segment Next, Ripten and Heise online and removed the first usage of the GameBanshee. The second time it's used is to cite an interview directly from the website, which adds a large piece of info to the article, so I haven't removed it for now.
- Source 48 is a forum post, replace it.
- Source 51 is dead. Here is the correct link [1]
- File:Pillars of Eternity Master Odema Dialogue.jpg needs an image has rationale tag
- Do I need to ask an administrator or patroller to add it, or can I add it myself? I'm not sure how to do this since I believe it's the second image I've uploaded, and I can't find anything about it in the rules. --Markhoris (talk) 13:41, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- You can add it yourself. You can replace the licensing section of the image with {{Non-free game screenshot|Windows|Mac|Linux|image has rationale=yes}}. AdrianGamer (talk) 13:56, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

Great game, great article. You have done a great job in expanding the article. I remember how short it was back in February. However, the sources, and the image have some problems. After you have addressed all the issues I pointed out, the article will passed. Good Luck. AdrianGamer (talk) 10:24, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- It seems that you have fixed all the problems I mentioned above. Pillars of Eternity promoted to . Congratulations. AdrianGamer (talk) 14:16, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Inconsistent pronouns edit
I'm not sure whether this has been a conscious decision (this is a GA already, after all) or an oversight, so I'm putting it up for discussion: the article seems to use gender-specific male pronouns and gender-neutral "they" interchangeably for the main player character: for instance, in the lead-in, it's the latter, but in the Plot section, it's mostly the former. I don't think that "he" is factually correct, since the Watcher can be made male or female at character creation, but AFAIK there is no official guideline on this yet, so either option is fine, I guess. The main thing is that the usage of pronouns is made consistent throughout the whole article. --Koveras ☭ 06:30, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
Spiritual successor MY Asp edit
please, PLEASE get rid of the introduction of this article mentioning the classics BG, ID and PST in one breath with this claptrap game. if anything, pillars is a spiritual successor to Temple of Elemental Evil, another game with potential but laughable execution — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.170.81.208 (talk) 07:58, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
