is the ❓ really needed here? I mean, I assume that there several alternatives for this sentence:
1) *We asked because of what she laughed ___? — I assume, it is not a relative clause, because there is a question mark in the end 2) We asked, "Because of what she laughed ___?" — Direct speech 3) We asked because of what she laughed ___. — A period is in the end; Demetrius24 (talk) 08:51, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
