I'm sorry to have to say this, but this article is not nearly ready for GA just yet. First, and most obviously, there are whole sections such as 'Cognitive', 'Decipherment', 'In popular culture' which are entirely devoid of citations. Secondly, several other paragraphs are wholly uncited, and, ironically given the topic, several statements in 'Etymology' are uncited also. As if this were not enough, the coverage of major topics like Comparative linguistics - covered in some detail in that article - is very sketchy (and the links to that article have different names).
