All great Badagnani and thanks! As for the question about "aboriginal" the reference for the issue is the NMAI citation wherein Lucas says ""It was really wonderful to bring together an Aboriginal artist and an American Indian performance artist. You begin to see, even though they are from clear across the world apart from one another...." So it looks pretty much Australian to me.--Smkolins 11:31, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, thanks to *you* for writing it! I've used the American Indian Dance Theatre videos in my music classes for years. Badagnani 17:29, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

picture? edit

Does anyone think the picture from the Smithsonian would be loadable here? Url for picture in context is here.--Smkolins 11:33, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

If it's not a promotional photo, someone likely took it and owns the copyright. It would have to be "signed away" with a "free" license in order to be uploaded to Wikipedia. Or his family could just allow one to be used in the same way. If you yourself have one you took, you could do the same. Badagnani 18:14, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lucas won many awards, but edit

most of the awards he won aren't easily referenced in wikipedia - one project would be to create those pages and expand their winners/nominees lists.....--Smkolins 11:45, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

We have only a few active editors who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about American Indian arts and culture, and thus a lot of those types of articles still need to be created. Go for it! Badagnani 18:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Gone! Well at least got the ball rolling. But found the Taos one is gone while the Cine one existed but was obscured. I amplified it and set a redirect to it.--Smkolins 22:36, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
