Undo edit

I undid a revision by an anonymous contributor that just removed half a sentence. Seemed to be either a n act of vandalism or a well meaning correction that went wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pyobon (talkcontribs) 13:36, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Panther Publishing - The Book of the Panther edit

Regarding the undoing of the "Further Reading" edit (not mine), this is The definitive history of the Panther. It should be referenced off this page. Trouble is where, since the whole content is relevant to the book. Perhaps right at the start. Or have I misunderstood the objection that Biker Biker has to this edit? I am aware of the publisher, but not the individual book so I defer to your knowledge of it. What I reverted was the addition of books by Panther Publishing to five different articles. If, as the contributor says, he actually owns the books then they should be used to provide specific inline references throughout the article rather than just add it to the further reading section. A bulk addition of the latter makes one suspicious of the contributor's intentions, while the former is best practice on Wikipedia and builds trust and respect from other Wikipedia contributors. Bottom line - this editor should "earn his spurs" and provide a few references from the book(s) in question. --Biker Biker (talk) 16:51, 8 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Seems reasonable. I have put in a link from the first sentence - it is the definitive book. There was a later reference to a website item about this book, so I have replaced that with a much more appropriate reference to specific page in the book. Pyobon (talk) 01:24, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
