Removed section containing a ghost story/paranormal event which has little to do with the history of this building. If anyone thinks it should be there, recover it from the history and perhaps link it to a "Legends of Versaille" or "Ghost Stories of Versailles" article.

this is very poorly written. 69.203.10.232 (talk) 02:02, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Considering that the main page today has a story about the haunting at Petit Trianon it seems strange that the page on this place has no mention of the ghosts! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.205.224.155 (talk) 12:25, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have readded the Moberly-Jourdain incident, this article definetly should mention this here. Gryffindor 12:46, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree that the article should mention the Moberly-Jourdain incident, as the claim has generated a significant body of work, but IMO what was in the article seemed very biased towards a supernatural explanation, with the claim that no satisfactory explanation has been found. Surely an explanation of a hoax would be sufficient for many people. I have made some changes in an attempt to remedy this, but I have no doubt that the phrasing could be improved. 92.234.23.179 (talk) 01:34, 26 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Moberly-Jourdain incident has been added as a See also item.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 12:19, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

The long narrative about Antoinette using the Petit Trianon as a place of solitary respite seems wholly inaccurate. I turned up a few books in Google books that describe lavish parties and much socializing away form the court. See page 1-2 of the Arnott reference for examples. Not sure how to fix this large mess of an article. 198.58.150.106 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 07:42, 12 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

The French version of this page is up for translation into English. I assume that the two pages will be merged. Laluneestjolie (talk) 22:46, 30 November 2015 (UTC)laluneestjolie 17:46, 30 November 2013 (EST)Reply
