Broken link removed edit

I removed the following link, which was in the "References" section. It seems to be an attempt to include a file from somebody's own PC. Gronk Oz (talk) 10:08, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Shoes edit

Why do we care about this: Unlike the character from the books, this Peter Rabbit lacks shoes. What's the relevance of this asute observation, and how does it help us understand the TV series better?

Additionally, in this edit I removed "The title character" from Peter's description, because it's pointless. We can tell who the title character because it's written in huge letters at the top of the page, and presumably we've already read the lead and the synopsis. I don't see the value of this and it strikes me as amateurish grade school writing, not writing fit for a global encyclopedia. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:57, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

The superficial difference of shoes is not noteworthy unless it comes with critical analysis, or some explanation of significance from reliable published sources, i.e. "Series creator Jane Doe opted to depict Peter without shoes to 'make the character a little more rooted in the wilderness'" or whatever. Willy Wonka had a goatee in the Dahl books, but not in the films, and nobody thought to mention that at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (film). This sort of detail is cruftbait. Additionally, I removed "eponymous protagonist" as "eponymous" is still unnecessary, and "protagonist" contravenes WP:PROTAGONIST. We don't need interpretive labels. Character order edit

Why do you have preference for that order of the characters?

Lucifer Morningstar 01 (talk) 00:56, 20 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mr. Tod is most definitely a bigger character than Dr. and Mrs. Bobtail. He's in almost every episode and by far the most present character after the three young rabbits. Mark Huckerby also gets 4th credit in Season 2. Dr. and Mrs. Bobtail appear very sporadically through the show: the only Season 1 episode where she is largely featured is 'The Tale of the Big Move'. Apart from that, she has two (nearly silent) appearances in "Peter Rabbit's Christmas Tale" and "The Tale of Jeremy Fisher's Recital" along with a voice over line in "The Tale of Jemima's Egg". Dr. Bobtail has only a couple appearances more. If the characters were divided in two different sections for heroes and villains, this wouldn't be a problem, but having the Bobtails as main characters and Mr. Tod as a 'recurring' one is actually misleading about their respective importance and presence in the show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.44.93.220 (talk) 13:38, 29 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
