I don't think that Mansbridge was working in Ottawa when he was hired by CBC, I think it was somewhere up north, but I'm not sure. Peregrine981 02:30, 7 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Peregrine98 is right - Mansbridge served in the Royal Canadian Navy for at least a year or two in the 60's, then he was working in Churchill, Manitoba - not sure if his parents were up there at the time. He became the airport announcer there and was hired by the local radio station - not sure if that was a CBC station or not. Eventually he made his way down to Winnipeg and from there to Ottawa and now Toronto. Also, not sure if the personal information should be maintained in this entry. The beard edit

If anyone can find a picture of the bearded Mansbridge on the air they should add it to the article. --24.81.74.250 09:01, 22 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article needs some work. It sounds as if his publicist wrote it or something... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zygnoda (talkcontribs) 06:34, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Large named? edit

"Mansbridge was recruited to work for a local radio station by a large-named CBC radio executive"...what is a large named CBC radio executive? I have removed large named...--kelapstick (talk) 17:53, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think they probably meant "high up the ladder" but you're right; large named is incorrect. 11:52, 19 November 2009 (GMT) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.72.205.252 (talk)

Mansbridge at Bilderberg edit

People have tried to add a note regarding Mansbridge's participation in the 2010 Bilderberg meeting; but it has been deleted time and time again. Very few people are invited to this meeting. It is a potentially important piece of the Mansbridge story. It is a note-worthy point that should be included in this Wiki.

Alberta and Canada? edit

In the family history section the phrase "Alberta and Canada" is used to describe his father's diplomat past. Last time I checked, Alberta was a province of Canada….. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.99.76.6 (talk) 12:19, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
