The term 'per vaginam' is nothing to do with vaginal bleeding - vaginal bleeding is a per vaginam bleed.
The term PV is used extensively in medicine to refer to much more than vaginal bleeding. This cannot be a sub-section of vaginal bleeding or realistically and other subject and needs to remain an article in its own right.
