Licensing? edit

Looks like there is discrepancy in licensing terms. Header mentions Apache 2.0 license and Licensing section says GPL and LGPL. According to their website it was LGPL with v4.1 and before. Starting from v4.2 they switched to Apache. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 54.240.196.186 (talk) 21:36, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tag for Disclosure of Interests edit

Since the Pentaho page has been tagged "may have been edited by a person with a conflict of interest with the subject matter", I shall declare my interests: I am lead developer of the mondrian project, which is distributed by Pentaho. I sometimes edit this page, but I make sure that my edits conform to wikipedia's definition of 'non-controversial'. My edits are mainly reverting spam and advertisements. Julianhyde (talk)

I too have added text to this article and should disclose that I do have business links with Pentaho Corporation and I'm a core member of the Mondrian project. I have added an extended description to the list of components. I have no intent to maintain this page nor influence its contents and I have performed the mentioned modifications in all good faith. "Use Case" edit

"A notable use case is the Sun Report Builder..." That does not seem like an accurate use of the term "Use case". I suppose the author meant something like "usage instance". 68.105.183.117 (talk) 02:44, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Removing paragraph "Social Media Communication" edit

I like Pentaho, but the "Social Media Communication" is really too much, it does not belong on Wikipedia (too many external links). Please make it REALLY shorter, or the next passing-by editor will just remove the whole paragraph. Cheers! Nicolas1981 (talk) 03:20, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

I just removed the whole section. It's all excessive. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 07:31, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
