Does adjusting the formatting of a table require citing sources???

A table in this article looked like this:
I changed it so that it looked like this:
This did not alter the information in the table but made the formatting neater. Notice that the leftmost the column of "equals" signs is now vertically aligned and there's a bit more space between lines.
you might be right, but you will have to cite sources to support a change like this
