Geometry edit
The physics of this prism does not change when you extend side BC until it coincides with side AD. The corner side CD is just for convenience. Therefore, point O is not necessary at one-third of BC. Or is this just the way all suppliers make it? Paul (talk) 17:15, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Is flint glass used ? What refractive index ? Presumably the 90 degrees only applies to the frequencies that experience the refractive index (given that the glass is dispersive) that the angles were designed for ? - Rod57 (talk) 23:04, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
