Use of the term 'Vikings'

While the ship may be referred to in the popular media as a replica 'Viking' ship, it's commemorating the landing of Hengist and Horse, two quasi-legendary figures who are supposed to have existed in the 5th Century several hundred years before the Viking phenomena began and who are considered key figures in the Anglo-Saxon, not the later Viking, invasion and settlement of Britain. Tidal Range

The claim that "The Bay has extreme tides, similar to those of the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada," strikes me as extremely improbable. However, I only believe this through personal observation (to me it seems like only a couple of metres, unlike the 7 m extreme in Nova Scotia), so I have not touched the article. But this big claim should be referenced - if this cannot be done then I think it should be removed. MalcolmStory21 (talk) 20:20, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

Hovercraft photo date

The date in the hovercraft photo caption looks wrong. It says July 1986, but the article states that hovercraft operated here from 1969 to 1982. Bcp67 (talk) 21:58, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
