Why only the US? edit

US-centric or what? APW (talk) 06:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Because there is a perfectly good article Pedestrian zone which deals with all countries, including a section on the US with a link to Pedestrian street, which re-directs here to Pedestrian mall. I have put in a link in the other direction. This article should be renamed Pedestrian malls in the USA. TiffaF (talk) 07:20, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello Australia ? edit

Why must the US have the monopoly on this term ? It is commonly used in Australia, yet, Australia's malls have been pushed into an article called "pedestrian zone". I can tell you noone here refers to them as "pedestrian zones" :P It is pedestrian mall. Google it. Same sort of annoying US centrism that is taking over Wikipedia and causing monopolies on the description of CBDs as "Downtown", though that is rarely used elsewhere in the world .... --Biatch (talk) 07:07, 22 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
