Emergency medics had to administer oxygen on the pitch.[1] Michel Platini later said that he thought that Battiston was dead, because "he had no pulse and looked pale"- Isn't this a bit of an exaggeration? Battiston continued to play in the years to come. I don't agree at all, in 2012 Battiston declared after this incident he had headaches during 25 years and he became insomniac... Moreover, the fact that Platini thought he was dead is true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.61.174.198 (talk) 19:20, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
