Talk:Patriarchate of Aquileia

No merge with Patriarchal State edit

The Patriarchal State of Aquileia was a large state in Northern Italy for a period of a around four centuries that although run by the Patriarch was not something that was identical to the Patriarchate which existed before and after the state was in existence. A state has its own notability. JASpencer (talk) 13:18, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Agree, the Patriarchate was not same as the State.--Yopie (talk) 00:12, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Old Diocese Infobox edit

Is there an infobox for an extinct diocese? Currently all I've found is this Template:Infobox Roman Catholic diocese which is for still active dioceses.

– Primary usage. The patriarchate came first and outlasted the secular state ruled by its bishops. The other patriarchates are usually called by other names (Grado, Old Aquileia). Srnec (talk) 02:44, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
