This is a blog about patent law. Apparently the person requesting speedy deletion believes that U.S. Patent Law is less important than "cute animals." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cute_Overload
No, the requester believes that blogs are less important than cute animals. I probably agree, on the grounds that there are fewer cute animals! Seriously, you need to give some indication that this blog has garnered the attention of mainstream media. DJ Clayworth (talk) 21:13, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

- The section you are looking for is here: Wikipedia:Notability (web). See the section headed "Criteria". And the fact that you, personally, added this blog to "list of blogs" a short while ago does not make it notable. DJ Clayworth (talk) 21:44, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Notability (web) does not contain the phrase "mainstream media". It doesn't even contain the word "mainstream". You have apparently invented a requirement. Please try to stick to the ACTUAL wikipedia guidelines. Please take the time to get familiar with these guidelines before trying to destroy other people's contributions. Speedy deletion edit
Speedy deletion is declined. However this seems to have very little content. It would appear that a merge into Dennis Crouch might be appropriate. DJ Clayworth (talk) 22:06, 28 May 2009 (UTC) Also the capitalization of the blog name seems to be "PatentlyO" or sometimes "Patently-O". Also there is no article Patentlyo or PatentlyO so the "(blog)" suffix is unnecessary. A rename is probably in order. DJ Clayworth (talk) 22:08, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- You are right about the renaming (it says the preferred name is "Patently-O"), but why don't you chill out on the deletion/merger for a minute and give it a chance? A blog and its author are two separate entities. I added Patently-O to the List of blogs, but it wouldn't make sense to list Dennis Crouch there. --Patent Lawyer 001 (talk) 15:12, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
