All of the reference materials I have (cited) says that Partidge Berry is Mitchella repens. I'll take the word of the Vaccinium vitis-idaea article about the Newfoundland use. As for Gaultheria procumbens (called wintergreen in my books), is listing it here just a mistake? Do we have a source for it going by Partridge berry?

Sorry if I'm making this too elaborate for a disambiguation page, but it does seem fair to give a better idea of which plants are likely to be referred to by Partridge berry. Kingdon 19:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
