If this is an English name, it doesn't need the hyphen. If it is a French name, as in the name of the borough, it needs the hyphen and the spelling Parc. - Montréalais 04:01, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

You're quite right. I've changed the usage within the article to Park Extension, per the lead. I won't attempt to rename article until there is some source for the origin of name. Shawn in Montreal 19:25, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, hardly surprising I guess, but a Google News search in English reveals more and better hits for Park Extension than Parc Extension. And the Gazette, which I suppose is as good a barometer as any for Quebec English, also has it as Park. [1] As this is English Wikipedia I for one see no pressing reason not to go with the English spelling for the article, and pull the hyphen from Park and Extension. Montrealais, what's your take?Shawn in Montreal 21:05, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your map and boundaries for Montreal's Parc Extension district have changed in the last few years. It has been enlarged by extending its eastern boundary to Casgrain Street. Therefore, Parc Jarry also falls in the Parc Extension area as well. Please make edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.252.79.133 (talk) 17:47, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
