Lutece or Lutetia edit

I think we should give the Roman spelling of Lutetia, rather than Lutece; I see that the Roman spelling is used in the English Wikipedia. Does that make sense? SiefkinDR (talk) 15:18, 27 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

I agree: Lutetia, it should be; although, first time mentioned, maybe the French spelling could be added between parentheses
Lutetia (Lutèce)...

Gregory VII reference seems wrong edit

I don't think this line is correct: "In 1377 Charles VII asked Pope Gregory VII to raise Paris to an archdiocese, but the Pope refused." Since pope Gregory VII is the famous pope responsible for the Gregorian Reforms in the 11th century. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.80.248 (talk) 01:24, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, you are exactly right. The Pope who refused an Archbishop for Paris was Gregory XI, not Gregory VII. I have made the change. Cordially, SiefkinDR (talk) 06:13, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
